The Shamrock Wrestling Club invites you to become part of an increasingly popular sport. Wrestling stresses self-discipline and physical conditioning while giving the young athlete an opportunity to build up his self-confidence. Sign up as a little boy and walk out a confident young man.
This is the 13th year that Saint Patrick High School has sponsored a grammar school wrestling team. Last year’s club was made up of 25 athletes from more than 10 area grade schools.
Two individuals from last year’s team qualified for the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation State Tournament and one Shamrock returned with a 5th Place medal, the club’s first since 1998.
